Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to businesses with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.

Wells Fargo Commercial Capital
o    A market-leading provider of working capital, investment capital, trust services, and sales financing solutions that help customers optimize liquidity and grow their business through their lifecycle

Middle Market Banking
o    Services private and public companies with annual sales of $5 million to $2 billion
o    Specialized expertise across industry sectors

Treasury Management & Payment Solutions
o    Provides cash management services and digital channel capabilities for customers of Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking 
o    Also serves some Consumer and Small Business Banking and Wealth and Investment Management customers, and Auto Dealer Finance partner relationships in Consumer Lending

This position will be the reporting to the Collateral and Legal Documentation capabilities leader as part of the Commercial Banking Transformation Office. This position will lead a team of Business System Consultants and act as the primary business liaison between the LOBs, Legal and the Technology group for our Legal Documentation Platform which supports all states across the Wells Fargo footprint, and requires state specific loan documentation requirements/language for each based on regulatory, federal and state law. Systematic changes implemented on the Legal Documentation Platform are critical to the business, high risk, and impact multiple lines of business.

This leader will work closely with business, technology and other stakeholders to understand business processes and value chain to help align solutions to business need and priority. This role will actively engage in multiple projects concurrently, and responsibilities will include:
• Support our existing Legal Documentation Platform (systems including Wholesale Loan Forms, COLTS Loan Documentation Module and Templates, DocGen/SimplyDocs, LaserPro and BLAST/Credit Fulfillment) for system enhancements, process improvements, implementation of software application updates, reengineering for greater efficiencies and compliance/ regulatory updates.  
• Keeping our target Legal Doc platform end state capabilities current based on stakeholder feedback and other transformation efforts 
• Lead a RFP to identify our go forward legal document platform
• Define a roadmap to migrate legacy legal document platforms to our strategic platform
• Implement the roadmap on time and in budget
• Help connect the dots and identify dependencies between different transformation efforts across Wholesale impacting legal documents
• Stay engaged with our new origination, underwriting and portfolio management program (OPMT) to understand how data captured during the underwriting process will be leveraged to create legal documents
• Lead the team to coordinate the successful implementation of enhancements within the release and enterprise calendar
• Build KPIs to articulate the business value for the work done by the team
• Support our team transitioning to Agile from Waterfall methodology 
• Coaching and developing direct reports, managing the daily workload of the team, designing and implementing new processes for the team, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining service level agreements, assisting team with deliverables, project participation, user acceptance testing, communication of implemented changes to executive and senior leadership

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule:
Salary range is determined by the location of the job.

MN-Minneapolis: Min: $87,500 Mid: $125,000 Max: $162,500
TX-DAL-Downtown Dallas: Min: $87,500 Mid: $125,000 Max: $162,500
NC-Charlotte: Min: $87,500 Mid: $125,000 Max: $162,500

May be considered for a discretionary bonus.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, product development experience, or a combination of both
  • 2+ years of leadership experience

Other Desired Qualifications

• Strong strategic leadership, solid communication and relationship building skills, problem solving skills, drives for results, and strong project management acumen 
• Experience/knowledge with industry leading document generation platforms
• Experience with commercial lending systems, requirements, data flows and solutions desired
• Knowledge of Wholesale Legal Documentation applications including Wholesale Loan Forms, COLTS Loan Doc Module and Templates, BLAST, LaserPro and DocGen/SimplyDocs
• Working experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tools such as ALM, Jira, and Confluence (Application Lifecycle Management)
• Identifiable knowledge, experience, and understanding of SDLC requirements process and methodologies
• Proven ability to work successfully with all levels (including Senior Leadership) of management on high impact initiatives across multiple LOBs
• Influence and collaboration skills to achieve solutions that meet the needs of the organization; able to resolve issues and overcome obstacles
• Experience in effectively navigating and influencing a complex organization
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy and improvement
