Manager, Data Insights

This is a Contract position in Dallas, TX posted September 14, 2021.

The Manager of Data Insights will be charged with developing reporting, tracking metrics across multiple channels, and providing insights that drive key decision making.

Daily responsibilities will include compiling and aggregating data, developing dashboards, and building executive summaries.

The person in this role will be expected to understand media metrics and identify opportunities for optimizations.

Specific Responsibilities Include: Oversee development of performance reporting and analyses across multiple channels; understand multiple data sources and develop methodology for joining data that will add value.

Design and manage the end-to end ad-hoc data capture environment, including identifying data sources, leveraging data tools, and developing enterprise-wide processes.

Manage agency partner campaign reporting including weekly, monthly, and quarterly deliverables and insights and communicate directly with key stakeholders.

Architect solutions and provide optimization recommendations that drive engagement, ROAS and various other KPIs.

Translate data into human insights and stories that drive change in digital marketing strategy and tactics.

Partner closely with leading partners such as Google, Facebook, and other media partners to take advantage of new measurement features and learning opportunities.

Manage A/B test design and implementation to help measure and improve incrementality from new partners, creative formats and audience segments.

Using Tableau, excel macros and other automation tools to streamline and consolidate the existing data reporting processes.

Qualifications/ Requirements: Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in marketing analytics, preferred in a media agency or ecommerce business.

Ability to use insights tools, including Google Analytics, BigQuery, SQL, SAS, and Tableau.

Top-notch analytical skills with a proven ability to work through data to find opportunities and actionable insights that are not readily apparent.

Proactive self-starter, with motivation, commitment, and enthusiasm to gets things done Ability to translate business requirements into data requirements.

Willingness to learn new technologies with ability to manage through ambiguity.

Advanced computer skills are required.

Expert-level Excel capabilities (data manipulation, formulas and modeling) and PowerPoint skills.

A self-starter with the ability to multitask, handle pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment without a lot of direction or oversight.

Experience with companies in a growth-stage and/or change management preferred.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in business, mathematics, data analytics or similar field that compliments this role.
