SUMMARY

Working independently, the Product Content Manager is responsible for execution and management of product lifecycle workflows for bringing in new products, maintaining existing ones, publishing them to the site, and sunsetting products. In this capacity, the associate drives merchandising of all product pages to meet key performance goals and support corporate initiatives. This position leads the team responsible for onboarding products, standardizing content, adhere to SEO guidelines. This position collaborates with merchandising, promotional, data integrity, IT, site merchandising and content teams on company initiatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Own product onboarding process.
  • Manage product content team and implement merchandising strategy, optimization and execution of visual merchandising and related workflows to meet site performance targets.
  • Develop and maintain standards around the content on all product pages.
  • Manage the site to ensure merchandise assortment, product categorization and taxonomy maximizes sales and is effectively presented to the customer across all categories.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Pre-Owned, Marketing, Product and IT teams to achieve assigned objectives through collaboration and strong communication.
  • Partner with Digital marketing on SEO strategies and optimizations.
  • Utilize analytics to track and evaluate site user behavior and makes recommendations to site and usability enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain a work environment that values diversity, inclusion, and respect.
  • Encourage team to develop cross-functional relationships throughout the organization to ensure that others are prepared to understand and support shared business objectives.
  • Manage relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree with a regionally accredited program or 7+ years relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of related management experience
  • 8+ years of relevant experience or 10+ years for educational equivalency

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 6 or more years of experience in online merchandising.  
  • Management experience if required.
  • Salesforce knowledge is required. 
  • Strong computer skills: proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and knowledge of Excel.
  • Expertise in site analytics.
  • SEO knowledge is highly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills
