In return, we will pay you well and offer you the opportunity to go as far in your career as you want to go.BENEFITS SUMMARYDAY 1 BENEFITS such as medical, dental, and vision insurance and company-paid life insurance.Industry-leading 401(k) with annual company match starts on your 90th day.Paid holidays, vacation time, educational assistance program, and more.ABOUT THE JOBThe Distribution Center (DC) Supervisor establishes and maintains successful operations of an assigned area, department, or shift of the warehouse/distribution center.PREFERRED qualifications for this position include: Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field OR equivalent experience internal or external to McLane; grocery industry experience; ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.Understand and implement DC goals and standards related to areas such as productivity, order quality, damages, shrinkage, safety, sanitation, turnover, and overtime.Ensure that department and warehouse procedures add value for customers and reduce unnecessary costs.Supervise and manage daily work of department teammates; create and maintain schedules and job assignments.Provide training, coaching, and corrective action as needed.Ensure adherence to proper operational and safety procedures; be a visible and vocal advocate for safety.This position has additional duties; special projects may beassigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or GED.3+ years of distribution warehouse experience.Experience leading large numbers of warehouse staff (hiring, training, motivating, and resolving employee relations issues).Computer experience, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).Candidates must pass a background check, drug screen and other job requirements.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
