Job TitleNorth America Compliance ManagerJob Description SummaryThe North America Compliance Manager will join a growing, dynamic and talented Global Ethics and Compliance Group and provide support for all compliance-related functions within North America. This position reports to the Americas Compliance Director.Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSupports compliance training and communication development including content creation, audience identification, and completion trackingConducts risk assessment, auditing, monitoring and other Compliance department activitiesManages the roll out of new and updated North America Legal & Compliance policies and enforces adherence to all global policies and proceduresPartners with business stakeholders at all levels of the organization to determine gaps or risk areas and recommends remedial actionBuilds and maintains strong working relationships across all functions and levels of the organization.Interfaces with HR, vendor and IT to support the annual certification of the Code of ConductEconomic Sanctions Screening – liaise with outside vendor, IT and business lines to ensure timely and accurate screening of counterpartiesUltimately manages and mentors newly hired Compliance Analyst(s)Provides in-person compliance training on an as needed basisRelies on solid experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsRequirements:Bachelor”s Degree requiredJD preferred, but not required3-5 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably at a large, global, matrixed organizationSpanish or Portuguese speaker preferred, but not requiredExperience mentoring and managing othersDemonstrated success in delivering results, including influencing and working effectively at all levels of the companyStrong moral compass and unquestionable integrityExcellent judgment, analytical and problem solving skillsSelf-motivated and ability to work independentlyAbility to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain flexibility in fast-paced, changing environment.Highly organized with attention to detailCollaborative team memberAbility to exercise good judgment and discretion concerning highly confidential, privileged informationCushman & Wakefield provides equal employment opportunity.
