In this role, you will be responsible for leading highly complex and cross-functional projects/programs, many of which have high-level visibility within Apple.Key Qualifications* Program Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales Support, Business Process Mapping* Passion and drive with great sense of urgency; excellence as a habit* Ability to make key decisions and deliver results under deeply tight and stressful timelines; deal with an immense degree of ambiguity; create in an unstructured environment; multi-task; drive end-to-end customer focus; think creatively to solve problems* Time management skills; must display great ability to prioritize deliverables to balance speed and accuracy in making the key decisions* Proven ability to influence effectively* Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to adapt messaging to varying levels of management* Strong analytical capabilities with experience in developing suites of reporting* Good eye for details with a hands-on and can-do attitude* Independent and not afraid of owning and making decisions; delegation and empowerment will be critical to successDescriptionThe Americas NPI Reseller Operations Manager is responsible for being the voice of Reseller Operations for each NPI launch, engaging disclosed partners and stakeholders to drive the overall NPI launch plan of record for Reseller Operations.* Control the NPI confidential disclosure process for Reseller Operations across all product classes with 100% expected accuracy – Provide extraordinary leadership to cross-functional channel operations and external business teams in program / project management of highly complex launches to ensure precise end-to-end execution to NPI launch POR – Run NPI communication strategy, guidelines and templates for partners – Balance program risk management vs. benefits under tight timeline and pressure to make critical business decisions – Work very closely with cross-functional teams including numerous Operations teams (including Readiness, Supply Planning, Logistics) as well as Sales & Marketing, Credit, Pricing, Contract teams at global, regional and country levels to achieve goals – Subject matter authority for using Reseller Operations NPI systems, tools and processes to ensure no early shipment or escapes of NPI products before a product has been announced – Drive postmortem to identify process improvements – Fully engage and lead process improvements; keep relevant teams updated on progress – Subject matter expert and key escalation point for region in all matters of Reseller Operations NPI Readiness. – Act as key NPI interface with World-wide Reseller Operations and regional senior management – Lead NPI process re-engineering efforts with NPI program managers and cross-functional teams to setup Reseller Operations NPI playbook, map and streamline existing processes, design and document new processes and conduct change management – Work with global and regional Business Process Re-engineering and Business Intelligence teams in support of projects affecting NPI. Participate in UAT testing support for project go-live and drive internal change management to the team – Conduct RO NPI training for new-hires and refreshers and share standard methodologies within the Reseller Operations (within and across the regions) – Build an effective and motivated team that is self-sufficient and passionate; delegate and empower team where necessary to achieve business goals and develop employees – Cross-train team across all product lines to avoid knowledge gaps and insure skill set redundancyEducation & Experience? Bachelor’s degree required in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or related discipline. MBA or advanced degree preferred.Additional Requirements* Prior managerial experience required.
