Office – Business Manager We are growing and expanding! We are a law firm devoted to family law with offices in Pearland, Angleton and Webster with plans to expand throughout the Houston area. We are currently seeking experienced mid-level to senior Office – Business Managers who would like to join an established, energetic, intellectually challenging, and team-oriented firm with a minimum of 7+ years of office management experience and, preferably, in a law office setting. The Office – Business Manager will have a high degree of contact with the founder and owner, the Ligitation Manager, and the administrative team of all locations. We seek a bright, hard-working, and innovative professional who is looking for full-charge bookkeeping and office-business management responsibility and who wants to grow with our firm with a desire to succeed. Job Requirements:Office – Business Manager Manages full-charge bookkeeping & accounting functions for the Firm, including the billing and time management system, accounts payable and accounts receivable, payroll administration, general ledger entries, tax and tax preparation, and financial/legal operations report generation including financial statements, productivity reports and key performance indicator measurements. Provides office – business management support including HR Management, IT/internet systems, ordering of materials and supplies, and monitoring/training/coaching to ensure the administrative systems of the firm as on track. Participates in the business management operations of the Firm by managing the reception personnel in setting appointments and coordinating the scheduling and notification of scheduled meetings for the attorneys, managing effective client relations while directing clients within the offices, handling presenting client complaints, and assisting in creating and maintaining effective administrative and operations policies & procedures and meeting productivity goals. Supports the Firm’s client development and community relations programs, marketing & prospecting efforts in collaboration with other assigned team members. Provides support leadership to all departments of the Firm in financial matters including charges, collections, cost analysis, and profitability measurement. This administrative leadership position is an important position the Firm’s management leadership process.
