Holds self and direct reports accountable for active engagement in pro-active safety culture.* Enforces adherence to the Traulsen Quality Management system to ensure quality product reaches our customers.* Supports the resolution of Warranty issues in collaboration with the Sustainability team* Responsible for production scheduling, materials management, labor management, and capacity planning, utilizing MRD* Collaborates with Engineering and other functions on ECN Implementation* Implements and maintains 5S Program, including employee training and participation* Collaborates with Manufacturing Engineering on Kaizen projects, ensuring employee participation and buy-in* Implements and maintains Kanban* Manages departmental budget and provides input on Annual Plan* Actively engages in the identification and implementation of Toolbox Savings* Fosters an environment of employee development and growth at all levels* Supports ITW’s and Traulsen’s Diversity and Inclusion philosophy and initiativesQualificationsEDUCATIONBS in Engineering or Business Management, or equivalent years of experience in ManufacturingQUALIFICATIONS:* Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment* Experience with pro-active behavior-based safety* Experience with Continuous Improvement, 5S, Kaizan* Experience working with QMS* Experience leading people and projects* Advanced Excel skills* Professional oral and written communication skillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to:* Perform activities including bending, stooping, standing, walking* Stand and walk from four (4) to six (6) hours per day* Operate common office equipment, i.e. PC, phone, copier, printer, fax* Work in office environment* Work on shop floor that is not climate-controlled with exposure to minimal dust, dirt, and fumes* Climb up and down stairs four (4) to six (6) times per day* Travel infrequently, by various means of transportation, including car, train, bus, planeAdditional InformationITW Food Equipment Group is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
