Operations Manager

Out Client is looking for an Operations Manager to be the right hand to the COO and manage the daily operations, allowing the COO to focus on larger projects. The Operations Manager will manage all administrative functions and help enforce corporate policy, procedures and operating systems for the Senior Management team. This Operations Manager will be joining a rapidly growing start up and has great growth potential! The Operations Manager will manage a team to plan, organize, and monitor the shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of all items ensuring a smooth and consistent operation as needed to satisfy external customer requirements. Responsibilities include generating revenue and minimizing operating expenses, formulating operational policies and procedures, managing customer relations, overseeing daily operations, schedule/plan incoming inventory, manage shipping of completed product to customer facility, and maintenance, planning and scheduling the use of materials and product levels. This person reports directly to the COO.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Leads and manages staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties. Monitoring performance, disciplining when needed, setting goals and KPI’s.
  • Conducts informational staff meetings. Communicates projects and goals to meet customer and business objectives.
  • Establishes and implements departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with executive management, customers, and staff members as necessary.
  • Directs and coordinates activities directly related to the transporting and warehousing of customer product and/or providing secondary services such repacking.
  • Determines inventory, warehouse space, equipment needs, maintenance of equipment and facility, transportation needs, based on forecasts of customer demand.
  • Manage the movement of goods into and out of warehouse facilities.
  • Facilitate timely and profitable delivery of all services while meeting or exceeding company standards for quality and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement best in class processes and other solutions across the enterprise.
  • Update and manage the Point of Sale (POS) systems reporting and familiar with standard updates or modification as needed.
  • Directs and coordinates organization’s financial and budget activities to minimize operational expenses, maximize revenue, and increase efficiency.
  • Determine staffing requirements and workforce planning; interviews, hires and trains new employees, or oversees those personnel processes.


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management, Operations Manager, Finance, or other related field
  • 5+ years of experience including management and operations
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to successfully juggle multiple priorities and be self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a strong focus on building an inclusive and positive environment
  • Keen on working in a fast-paced environment and manage time successfully
  • Results orientation with attention to detail

Compensation and benefits for this position are very competitive. Compensation in this position can reach up to $95k + bonus for the ideal individual.
