Overview:The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in leading a customer focused, top-line sales driven, profitable and productive store location.

The Assistant Store Manager must also inspire and motivate others by exhibiting core value behaviors-including a customer focused selling culture, and ensuring the execution of the Store’s KPl’s.

Assistant Managers also must hold store employees accountable to following all policies and procedures.Responsibilities:PacSun FitReflects the PacSun brand by demonstrating passion and affinity for product, brands, fashion and trendsInspires and motivates others by consistently exhibiting core value behaviorsDemonstrates willingness, aptitude, and initiative to learn what is unknown about product, brands, fashion and trendsCustomer ExperienceDisplays a customer-focused mindset at all times and ensures all team members deliver an engaging, positive and authentic customer experienceHandles customer situations in compliance with policy and procedures, attempts to ” Solve for yes” and escalates issues as appropriateMaintains a clean and well organized store, promoting a safe working and shopping environment to maximize the customer experienceShares feedback from customers with the leadership team to improve the overall customer experiencePerforms as the floor supervisor role as needed to cover non-peak periods (breaks etc.)Priority Setting / Decision MakingPrioritizes and delegates tasks to meet all operational needsDisplays a customer-focused mindset at all times and ensures all team members deliver an engaging, positive and authentic customer experienceSupports and executes visual directives and maintains visual standards set by the companyDrives efficiency in all operational store processesMaintains merchandise flow, filling and presentation standards throughout the store and stockroomMaintains a clean and well organized stockroom and store, promoting a safe work ing and shopping environment to maximize the customer experienceEnsures all store associates follow all policies, procedures and all Safety Program practicesResults DrivenHolds self and others responsible for the accomplishment of all operational tasksCoaches and provides feedback on Sales Associate’s performanceSupports associate engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performanceProvides direction to associates to ensure understanding of company directives and standardsResults DrivenHolds self and others responsible for the accomplishment of all operational tasksCoaches and provides feedback on Sales Associate’s performanceSupports associate engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performanceProvides direction to associates to ensure understanding of company directives and standardsOperational ResponsibilitiesLOP: Leads floor for management team to cover breaks during non-peak periodsSupervisory level register accessOpening / Closing Shift: May be required to open or close store during specific periods based on business needsAdditional ResponsibilitiesAbility and willingness to take on additional tasksAdheres to Federal, state and local labor lawsSecures and maintains assigned company propertyAbility to safely lift up to 50 poundsFlexibility with schedule {able to work weekends, early mornings, nights, peak holiday periods)Ability to utilize power tools and navigate a ladder as neededQualifications:Education/Skills/ExperiencePassion for product, brands, Fashion and trendsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredEffective written, verbal and presentation skillsStrong communication and time management skillsBasic math and computer proficiencyPrevious retail or stock experience requiredExperience supervising teams preferredMust be 18 years of agePhysical DemandsAbility to climb, reach, bend and lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionallyAbility to operate a cash register and fold and display merchandiseAbility to work in store sales floor for extended periods 95% or more of assigned shift Ability to communicate through oral interactionsJob Type: Part-time
