PJ OEM Parts Sales and Operations Manager

Position Description:

With superior positioning in the trailer industry and leading products across a diverse array of end markets, ATW has an opportunity for rapid and profitable expansion.

Our recently created Pro Grade business unit combines our three market leading brands (Big Tex, PJ and BWise) in the professional grade trailer market.

What will I be doing?

As the PJ OEM Parts Sales and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading the aftermarket OEM Parts business for PJ Trailers within the ATW Pro Grade Business unit. PJ Parts manufactures, sells, and distributes aftermarket replacement parts and accessories both through our wholesale dealer network as well as direct to retail end users. This role will have responsibility for leading the sales activity and will be responsible for the operational functions of the fulfillment warehouse.

What is expected of me?

  • Growing revenue and gross margin in the Parts Sales Business.
  • Managing cost and revenue budgets for Parts Sales and Operations team.
  • Ability to work with inside sales teams and navigate a matrixed environment. Knows how their role and/or function fit into the strategic plan and overall direction of ATW.
  • Working collaboratively to improve the customer experience.


Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the PJ OEM Parts Sales team and Warehouse fulfillment team.
  • Define and achieve sales goals, budgets, and margin targets.
  • Responsible for organization, optimization, and inventory accuracy of all OEM parts.
  • Responsible for OEM pricing and gross margin of parts.
  • Responsible for Weekly and Monthly KPI development and review.
  • Responsible for labor planning.
  • Standard work and process improvement for Sales Team and Operations Team.
  • Work with Products Engineering to ensure we have the correct OEM parts to support new products and existing products are supportable in the field.
  • Work with Warranty and Operations to ensure we have the proper parts fulfillment leadtimes.
  • Work with Procurement and Operations to ensure vendor and manufactured parts are delivered and stocked at appropriate levels.
  • Work with Business Unit Dealer Sales Team to help manage customer relationships.
  • Manage equipment requirements of the warehouse operations.
  • Manage safety requirements of the warehouse operations to ensure a safe work environment.

What Qualifications and Experience is required for success in this role?

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Solid sales experience in B2B environment.
  • Background in Supply Chain concepts.
  • Background in Lean concepts.
  • Ability to derive and obtain information from multiple data sources.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to communicate across multiple functional areas of the business.
  • Ability to travel between business units and to customers as required.

This role will require 10-15% travel and with some overnight stays.
