Everywhere foam goes, FXIs innovations lead the way Wont you join us?Our Santa Teresa, NM facility is looking for a motivated Plant Manager that will be responsible forplant operations, maintenance & improvement of the areas of Incoming, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Quarantine& Customer service in order to achieve company objectives through his/her experience & expertise of product, process& personnel.

Interacting with Internal, external & corporate management and customer relations.

Establishing and assuring compliance with all government and company plant policies and procedures.The Plant Manager will also be responsible for facility production goals and objectives while establishing and maintaining excellent community relations.

Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.

Development and execution of facility strategic projects and capital plans.

Responsibilities: Direct and coordinate plant operations in strict compliance with all state and federal laws, regulations, corporate policies and procedures.Maintain a clean and safe plant; incorporate a 5S culture for conducting all work activities.Responsible for achieving all facility business goals including, but not limited to, the areas of safety, quality, production, delivery, reliability & cost.Implement a continuous improvement culture by applying the Lean tools like Value Stream mapping, Lean Logistics, TPM, SMED, Standardize Work and utilizing the appropriate problems solving tools like 8D, DOE, Shainin and/or PDCA methodology.Establish and maintain a positive community relationship.Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings.

Need to be a key leader moving the company forward to meet strategic and business plan objectives.Responsible for strict adherence to the quality and product control systems for the plant.Insures that all plant assets are properly managed, safeguarded, and secure.Develop, submit for approval, and implement approved Capital Projects as required to meet facility strategic plans and business needs.Develop and insure management systems are in place to monitor plant output, cuts / yields and scrap to ensure efficient resource utilization and initiates corrective action as required.Lead organization to develop and follow plant metrics enabling the organization to efficiently monitor progress towards attaining site objectives and continuous improvement.Administers non-automotive sales to promote good customer relations and continued growth.Directs automotive sales to promote good customer relations and continued growth.

Promote positive company image through contact with Governmental officials, participating in civil and community affairs, and employee functions.Support the implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS) at the Santa Teresa facility.Day-to-day decision on the overall operation of the Santa Teresa facility.Pricing decisions.Planning, controlling, organizing, leading and communicating the overall direction of Santa Teresa.Fast & Efficient Response to Quality issues, proper communication & implementation of immediate corrective actions.Major decisions on governmental regulation such as environmental, EEOC, OSHA etc.

Environmental aspect and impact awareness.Final approval on budgets.Communicate the personnel all quality system changes and ensure quality system integrity.Encourage the personnel under supervision to meet/exceed customer requirements as required by applicable SOPs.Report any inconsistency or nonconformance on the product and participate in the corrective/preventive actions process.

Qualifications: BS Degree an Business or technical field prefer Master Degree (as a plus)10 years of prior experience in manufacturing environment.prior experience as Plant Manager preferred5 years lean manufacturing experienceDemonstrated Leadership Skills and track record of continuous improvement in all manufacturing core competencies including safety, quality, productivity, reliability and facility planningExperience in business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.Knowledge of raw material handling, production process, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of products and services.Strong communication, presentation, training, report writing and computer skills.Able to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.Handle complaints, settling disputes, and resolve conflicts.Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.Identify the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.
