Has knowledge and previous experience with technology and security focused projects such as server upgrades, security system implementations, hosting solution transitions, network automation, or database improvements.A strong communicator that can facilitate difficult conversations, present succinctly and clearly, and ensures project status is communicated to all relevant stakeholders at the appropriate level. Ability to break down complex ideas into simple explanations.Is a self-motivated, eager listener, and avid learner.Project coordination or scrum master skills that can drive the tactical activities on a steady or improving level of velocity.Proven with partnering and communicating with business sponsors, vendors, engineering, operations, and all other team members effectively and efficiently.Understands and can articulate the bigger picture yet, works at the detailed level on schedules, budgets, action items, scrum practices, and status reporting.Knows how to motivate and respectfully influence others. Organized and able to balance many projects at once. Utilized tools and systems to keep project artifacts current and detailed.What you ll do:Plan and manage medium and large projects from initial conception through lessons learned. Projects range from process improvement, new product set-ups, technology changes, regulatory and infrastructure projects. The majority of projects will be technology services upgrades and improvements that increase our compliance with service agreements, improve our security posture, or mature our infrastructure and network capabilities.Be focused on delivering and optimizing for organizational value with consistent results.Create, manage, and measure project artifacts that include scope deliverable definitions, resources estimations, change management, resource and funding requirements, development and implementation schedules, internal and external communication activities, training, detailed testing plans, go-live coordination and quality assurance.Motivate and focus cross-functional teams in a shared resource environment on common project goals. Lead teams to achieve consensus and commitment as well as complete tasks and deliver results as planned. Be responsible for project practices appropriate for the size, complexity, and team styles while ensuring consistency with company strategy, culture, and goals.Finds creative and effective ways to move projects forward without compromising on value, culture, or team dynamics.Identifies risks early and often with risk mitigation strategies being proactive with solutions.Ability to partner with business sponsors, technology, operations, and engineering teams to drive project execution in a shared resource environment. Utilizes strong judgement in timing, method, and frequency in communication, escalation, and conflict resolution.Work in data driven environment with diverse set of stakeholders with different levels of experience with enterprise project management.Lead teams through the vendor / solution selection process. Manage vendor relationships and provide budget to actual reporting.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 4+ years of experience owning and running complex programs and projects with a track record of success and failing forward.Experience in project and program management; project planning, business process development, change, risk and communication management, technical planning, vendor management, and budget/resource management.Preferred Requirements: PMP certification preferred as well as knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile (Scrum) and/or Six Sigma (Lean) methodologies.Financial Industry experience preferred.Dimensional offers a variety of programs to help take care of you, your family, and your career, including comprehensive benefits, educational initiatives, and special celebrations of our history, culture, and growth.To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our employees during COVID-19, the majority of Dimensional s employees are currently working remotely.
