Summary of Role:

GLOBALFOUNDRIES seeks an experienced Principal Account Manager, US Sales.

In this role, you will be part of a Sales team identifying, qualifying, and developing new direct business opportunities with Automotive OEMs and Tier-1s across the US.

The preferred work location is Austin, TX but will give consideration those candidates who reside in Detroit, MI and San Jose, CA. 
Work closely with GF’s Automotive Business Unit to identify target client engagements Develop, communicate and drive overall customer acquisition strategy for identified clients Work closely with the Business Unit, Field Applications & Technology Development teams to understand client roadmaps, and to identify and secure engagement opportunities Develop business proposals in response to RFI/RFQs, and drive necessary internal alignment and approvals from key stakeholders Negotiate formal business agreements at the Executive level Participate in operations, engineering, and business review meetings Develop a high level of customer intimacy with client’s sourcing and business unit leaders Process quotes, forecasts and product disposition in a timely manner Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited College and or University in Engineering, Materials Sciences, Solid State Physics or Related Discipline.

10+ Years of Sales or Business Development role at an Automotive Tier1 with a proven track record of Electronic Systems/Components deal closure with OEMs Well-networked in the Automotive Industry, with access to Electronic System Design teams & Key Decision Makers Approximately 50% Travel Required (Domestic & International)
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA is Preferred.

Ability to Effectively Communicate at the C-Suite level Strong organizational skills
