If you are a Project Manager with large cement experience in Structural High-Rise projects, please keep reading.
We are a successful Concrete Subcontractor with 3 offices in Texas: Dallas, Austin & Houston.

Right now, we’re in need of an Estimator for Houston’s projects, including all structural commercial projects.

Specifically we would like someone with experience managing high-rise projects or multiple level concrete new builds.

What You Will Be Doing
Reviews all invitation to bid (ITB) emails, determines if project meets bidding criteria, and replies to GC accordingly.

Utilizes the Estimating CTX Calendar.

Monitor Projects, through GCs website and emails, for addendums, RFIs, etc.

Processes and sells job in Heaven, sets up project in eCMS and sends notification email when completed for all sold jobs.

Compiles, downloads, copies and prints such as plans, records and reports, as needed.

Management of information in the Heaven program by logging in plans, drawings and clients (owner and GC).

Handles proposals & approves before delivered to project management.

– All employees, current and former, must maintain confidentiality by not disclosing to others any confidential, proprietary or trade secret information belonging to the Company
– What You Need for this Position
Experience is required, no less than 2 years combined experience as an Estimator, Project Superintendent and/or Project Manager on projects within the construction industry; a focus of Concrete Construction, and Tilt-up is encouraged.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred.
Self-perform experience of concrete is preferred but not required.
Previous experience with performing estimates, submitting bids, and generating proposals preferred.

Must possess the skills to review shop drawings, specifications and building plans.
Knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over $1 million
Superior organizational, supervisory and communication skills.

A self-starter that is detail oriented with the ability to complete multiple tasks with consistency and accuracy.

Exceptional follow-up skills are required and the candidate should possess the ability to adapt to change.
Communication skills include verbal as well as written.

Daily use of phone, text and e-mail is required.

PC skills include the use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as the internet and familiarity with menu driven software.
The capabilities to think ahead, plan work, recognize and resolve potential problems, along with the ability to learn quickly.

Must be a Team leader and builder.
Must provide or be able to obtain OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid certification.
