As a market leader, you will be focused on understanding the needs of the people we support and creating an environment that attracts and retains the talent needed to deliver these exceptional services in a fiscally responsible way that supports quality and drives growth.

You will partner with external stakeholders such as community, government, and business leaders in addition to partnering with internal colleagues to meet the needs of those we support.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Clinical field, required.

Master’s degree preferred.

10 years of progressive leadership experience in a health care related field with a distributed model is essential.

Prior track record of driving rapid growth, meeting/exceeding business objectives, high level of quality and service to those you support and creating an environment that attracts and retains talent.

Ability to travel across your market based in California on the needs of those we support, and our employees is required.

Ability to lead and manage the work of other employees and has the responsibility for hiring, coaching and managing performance to ensure high levels of performance and retention.

Manages the execution of strategic plans, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with executive leadership.

An effective as a leader by being an example and helping others demonstrate these behavioral competencies in their work and reaching their full potential.

This includes quality of care, the experience of the services, financial responsibility, strategic growth, and hiring and retaining the right talent.

Participate in the strategic and fiscal planning process for their market and responsible and accountable for the growth and strategy plans for their individual market.

Works collaboratively with other Business Unit leaders, subject matter experts, or Functional Unit leaders to bring enhanced or new services into their markets to meet the needs of those we support and our employees.

Builds strong relationships and partnerships with key external stakeholders such as community leaders, governmental agencies, business leaders, and supporters of AbleLight to enhance and grow services.

Responsible for building and leading plans around the quality of service provided and partnering with individuals we support and parents/guardians to ensure the voice of those we support is met and exceeded.

As a leader of teams and individuals, aligns the passion and talents of others to serve the people we support by actively developing others, empowering teams, promoting collaboration, removing barriers, and showing recognition and appreciation all to attract and retain top talent.

Accountable for building the annual budget and multi-year strategic and financial plan to support the existing services and expansion and grow in their market.

Stays on top of trends related to innovative practices, business changes, and technology advances across all industries to influence and ensure the right innovative practices are considered as part of the strategy.

Keeps up to date on local, state, and federal compliance expectations.
