Regional Marketing Manager Powder, Nam


This is a Full-time position in Dallas, TX posted August 1, 2021.

Powder Coatings are solvent-free paints applied to metal and other conductive surfaces.

They are applied using a spray gun or fluidized bed dipping, and baked in an oven, where the powder melts and then sets on the substrate, providing an even finish.

Our powder coatings can be used in a wide variety of applications, from window frames, automotive components and pipes, to radiators, fences, metal furniture, and even wood, glass and plastic.

They are available in a huge variety of colors, textures and finishes – including high gloss, matte, metallic, anodized and chrome effects.

They contain no VOCs, and overspray can be reclaimed, making them one of the most sustainable coating options available on the market.

The Regional Marketing Manager, Powder North America acts as Senior Marketing Leader and focuses on the Regional Marketing organization.

Coordinates with Business Unit (BU) Regional Commercial Director to drive performance within the region.

In this role you contribute to the execution of sales and profitability targets established by the Business Unit by formulating regional marketing plans and tactics.

Responsible for the actions, targets, budgets and implementation of segment plans, Business Unit strategies, as well as implementing go-to-market models.

Takes the lead in the Regional Strategic Planning as contributor to enable the overall strategy in close cooperation with the Regional Commercial Director.

Ensures by a deep understanding of market and customer needs a winning and sustainable offer to be number 1 in customer choice.

Key Accountabilities Translates BU vision, policies, market research and customer specifications into detailed Region strategies, actions, targets and budgets and keeps up to date as continuous process Formulates Regional marketing plans and tactics, which includes introducing, repositioning but also sometimes pulling out products, services and brands in countries Works closely together with Segment Manager(s) to ensure alignment and translation of Segment strategy into operational action planning for each of the segments in regional/cluster and/or country level, covering products, services, color as well as price, promotion, place and people (5P) With support of the Market Intelligence / Strategy Specialist, gets in depth understanding of needs within the Region through market research, general market data, consulting of sales, analyzing benchmarking results.

Translates needs into clear value propositions and develops these propositions in close cooperation with BU Marketing organization.

Provides regional input as a member of the BU Marketing Leadership team Works with regional sales and leadership to ensure product range meets customer needs and supports the implementation of the agreed product portfolio Inputs to pricing architecture, works with marketing to develop pricing frameworks for the region and executes regional tactical pricing with regard to competitive landscape Develops, executes and monitors key performance indicators for regional marketing team Stimulates benchmarking and internal best practice sharing in the marketing community Facilitates and secures the regional/cluster/ and/or country roll-out of Marketing Excellence & Pricing Excellence initiatives to optimize Sales Force Effectiveness, Margin Management and Pricing Represents the Marketing function in the regional leadership team facilitating information flow between the sales team and the segment managers Maintains close contact with sales organizations to ensure market input is gathered and translated into fitting propositions With support of the Marketing Communications Specialist develops communication plan for the specific Region and coordinates with BU marketing communications manager to ensure regional communication plan is incorporated and aligns with global communications plan Focuses on the touch points in the customer journey as well as the customer activity cycle with key metrics, customer needs and pain points to become first choice for customers.

Be familiar with all applicable corporate and site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct, HSE standards and always in compliance with all applicable regulations.

Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business 7 years of experience in a commercial environment with diversity across different areas of marketing and/or sales Seasoned professional leader – preferably with an international track record Business and financial acumen Demonstrates strong performance orientation as well as ability to build a high performance culture in the team Decisiveness in executing strategies to deliver value for the organization yet adaptability to change course in light of dynamic market conditions Showcase organizational acumen Solid interpersonal and influencing ability Global organization experience, prior experience reporting to leadership outside North America
