The Regional Director of Operations serves as a key, highly visible leader in LifeStance’s operational team and is accountable for successful operations of existing practices & integrations of newly acquired platforms, as well as analyzing, managing, and reporting on regional KPI’s.

The Regional Director is responsible for partnering with our teams of clinicians, team members, and leadership to administer direction, evaluation, and coordination of regional functions that ensure operational objectives fall in line with the overall needs of LifeStance Health.

This person will provide exceptional leadership by establishing and achieving operational goals, developing, and implementing plans and policies, while developing scalable business processes to support LifeStance’s rapid growth.

The Regional Director of Operations is a visible and engaged leader and motivator, working directly with clinicians, corporate and site level teams and leadership, analysts, centralized departments, and developers alike to deliver the absolute best working and care delivery experience to all team members, clinicians, and patients.


· Ability to manage a complex set of stakeholders and demonstrate the ability to develop long-term professional relationships.

· Partner with corporate and local leadership to define and implement operations strategy, structure, and processes that drive financial and operational performance improvements and meet goals and objectives.

· Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet LifeStance’s goals and provide guidance on operations projects and systems.

· Direct oversight of day-to-day operations of assigned region/team members and maintain a working knowledge of all phases of operations.

· Manage a varietal and complex assortment of projects simultaneously and collaborate successfully with internal and external customers and departments at all levels.

· Identify clinical and administrative staffing needs by examining both internal and external candidate pools; Support recruitment, hiring and onboarding of clinicians and team members.

· Monitor regional KPIs and develop action plans when needed.

· Responsible for regional P&L outputs.

· Coordinate implementation of new service lines (IOP, PHP, psych testing, TMS).

· Coordinate monthly meetings, regular communication cadences with direct reports and collaborating departments, and provide ongoing training or training resources as needed.

· Identify, recommend, and implement new processes and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes.


· Bachelor’s degree in Business/Healthcare Administration or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.

· 3+ years’ experience in leadership of multi-site operations is required.

Healthcare experience preferred.

· Must reside within primary region of responsibility and be able to travel as needed.

· Exceptional communication skills and ability to understand how to communicate large, complex change.

· Professional level of verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact with senior executives and clinical leadership.

· Ability to analyze an issue or opportunity and provide viable solutions and alternatives.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Ability to maintain confidentiality & abide within applicable compliance and laws/regulations in a healthcare setting.
