Regional Sales Director (CO, OK, TX, LA, MS, AL)

This is a Full-time position in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX posted June 7, 2021.

You must have medical device sales management experience to apply.

Over the past 40 years, our company has successfully introduced many innovations in respiratory care, anesthesia, autotransfusion, wound care, and minimally invasive surgery.

We look to grow existing business as well as add new market segments.

Our pattern of innovation has resulted in the award of over sixty patents in the U.S.

and abroad.

We are actively seeking candidates to fill a Regional Sales Director position in the South Central US.

This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and National Accounts.

You have P&L responsibility for your territory and generate sales through an established network of independent representatives and distributors selling products into the capital and consumable medical device areas.

This is a high visibility role within the organization and critical to continued growth.

TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST


Have demonstrated success in managing distributors and independent representatives in medical device sales to acute care hospitals (capital or consumable markets).

Success is measured by the actual sales representative’s ability to close their own sales, not when you show up to do their job for them.

Have demonstrated a high degree of independence once given your marching orders and diligently moved out to engage and coach your reports.

Be able to travel extensively ~75%.

Fit within a small company environment where you can get the job done by yourself within the constraint of available resources.

Be proficient with all contemporary computer and communication tools (laptop, tablet, phone, email, excel).

Exhibit strong leadership qualities and maintain high ethical standards Be an energetic, aggressive professional with the ability to present well in front of medical professionals.

Be highly self-motivated, self-directed and exceptionally attentive to detail.

Be able to find, recruit and train representatives to carry our capital and disposable products in the hospital market.

Be currently credentialed for Hospital sales in the O.R.

(RepTrax, VCS, Vendormate, etc.).

Have five to seven years of sales experience in the promotion and sales of medical devices.

Currently located in the territory, with easy access to an airport to be able to travel to other parts of the territory (CO, OK, TX, LA, MS, AL).

This position is ideally suited to someone from Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin-San Antonio, or Houston.
