Job Description

Palo Alto Networks is looking for an experienced finance professional to join the team as Revenue Manager, Reporting & Analytics. We’re looking for someone with an analytical mind and strong knowledge of finance, who is a self-starter, a great communicator and passionate about driving change in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

This role will report to Senior Director, Revenue AR Credit & Collections and will be responsible for revenue reporting to provide key topline insights that will drive executive decision-making as well as external reporting of various metrics. 

Your Impact
Prepare and own the revenue and street billings metrics with insightful trending and analysis Own the daily executive dashboard for management consumption Compile various metrics by speedboat and by segment and assist in the compilation of ACV, TCV, ARR and other SaaS KPIs Own the various reporting packages as part of the close for consumption by CFOs, executive team, board of directors, investor relations and internal/external auditor Investigate and provide insights to ad hoc requests by C-level executives Assess revenue reporting impact from new initiatives, opportunities, and accounting policy changes Enhance and promote near real time reporting Drive continuous improvement in the Company’s reporting capabilities by partnering with IT and other teams to promote simplicity and flexibility Lead ad-hoc projects related to revenue reporting 

Your Experience
Bachelor’s degree in economics/Business/Finance 7+ years related experience showing strong career progression; prior revenue accounting and knowledge for US GAAP revenue standards for technology or SAAS companies required; corporate FP&A experience is a plus Experience with SAP, SAP RAR, GCP, Tableau are strongly preferred Ability to convert data into stories and link big picture to details with ease Familiarity in managing large datasets, applying relevant statistical frameworks and concepts, and deriving executive-level insights Strong team player with excellent communication and presentation skills Experience in driving large scale reporting projects preferred  Willingness and ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment Independent with enthusiasm for solving unstructured questions and providing thought leadership
