We boldly challenge whats possible for a sustainable world.JOB SUMMARY:Trane has an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Sales Manager.

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day activities of a team focused on the sales of Light Commercial Unitary (LCU) and VRF products for your geographic area.

You will have PL responsibility and also be responsible for policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (e.g., one to two years).

The LCU-R team is responsible for sales of 3-25 ton packaged systems, split systems, ductless mini splits and other ancillary products sold to servicing contractors in the LCU replacement market.

The VRF team is responsible for sales of all VRF and ductless products.

This includes design support for mechanical engineers and sales to contractors in both plan spec and design/build markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:* Plan, lead and monitor the activities of a sales team at multiple locations to achieve established sales targets.

Provide the tools, environment, and opportunity for associates to develop; resulting in an empowered and productive sales team.* Support key account colleagues in the management of key client relationships and in the negotiation of contracts with key customers.* Increase market share through utilization of effective sales management process.* Prevent and resolve any sales channel conflicts.* Establish market place strategy.QUALIFICATIONS:* Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Minimum eight (8) years of HVAC industry sales and/or marketing experience.* Overall knowledge of HVAC distribution and dealer sales, service, installation and business practices is preferred.* Must possess a valid drivers license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to:* DUI in the previous 5 years;* Hit Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs that help our employees thrive in both their professional and personal lives.
