Job Summary

***This position is located in Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX only.***
***This position has the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week.***

As a Sales and Marketing Strategist for IFM, you will create and implement marketing campaigns and sales strategies to advance business goals for individual health insurance products within the broker community. This position requires a deep understanding of the ACA market, individual health insurance plans and competition to develop appropriate winning strategies. This position is responsible for driving results focused on growth objectives and profitability by analyzing data and recommending, developing, and implementing business plans and sales initiatives that generate relevant producer engagements and optimize Territory Managers sales activity. Additionally, this role will identify market opportunities while working with product specialist to commercialize the Blue Cross and Blue Shield value proposition to increase market share and profitability.

Responsibilities

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree and 5 years of experience in health care or financial industry.
  • Knowledge of health insurance products, trends, business intelligence.
  • Knowledge of sales channels and sales processes & techniques.
  • Analytical skills and experience including developing reports.
  • Experience analyzing problems, providing recommendations for improvement, and assisting in solution implementation.
  • Knowledge of state and federal legislation and regulations applicable to health insurance.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Masters Degree in Marketing, Health Care, Finance or Business.
  • Experience working with health insurance brokers and/or health insurance producers.
  • Experience in individual health insurance sales and/or marketing.
  • 2+ years experience managing projects including leading large cross-functional workgroups through entire project lifecycle and meeting deadlines.
