Senior Director of Ecommerce

This is a Contract position in Plano, TX posted August 30, 2021.

Full Relocation Benefits Provided Reporting directly to the Chief Digital Officer, the Sr.

Director of Ecommerce is responsible for the strategy, P&L, business operations, user experience, technical development and growth of Goodyear’s consumer facing ecommerce business and supporting online brand and retail experiences including Goodyear.com, GoodyearAutoService.com and JustTires.com.

This position is responsible for the growth of Goodyear’s industry leading direct-to-consumer ecommerce business and is charged with evolving the business to meet the expectations of our customers.

As P&L owner, the Sr Director of Ecommerce is responsible for driving revenue and EBIT growth and a balanced investment strategy.

Specific duties and responsibilities of Sr.

Director of Ecommerce will include, but not be limited to the following:
· Responsible for strategy and oversight of all aspects of the Ecommerce business including financial and business planning / roadmap, content strategy & development, agency /vendor relationships, user experience, website design, partnerships, customer service, web analytics and web technologies.

· Development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans for eCommerce and Retail websites.

Including the development of Annual Operating Plans.

P&L oversight for the ecommerce business.

· Define how Goodyear will work with the “new” online channel’s players
• What is our strategy for who to do business with (and how) among these pure internet players (e.g.

Amazon, eBay)
• Define implications to balance of channel customers and plan to address
• Define changes Goodyear must put in place (e.g.

policies, pricing) to be successful
· Management of GM staff within interactive marketing
– ensuring alignment on strategy, resourcing optimization, budget optimization, goal attainment, etc.

Cross-functional collaboration with Retail, Pricing, Sales, IT and other departments in the development and launch of interactive programs in order to gain business alignment of objectives, goals, business impact, etc.

· Strategy and oversight of Goodyear’s Retail web properties, including acquisition, site optimization, content strategy, customer service and web analytics for Goodyear’s Retail stores and Mobile Installation businesses PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
· 15 years leadership in digital marketing
· Proven success at a company where interactive/e-commerce direct to consumer were integral to business success
· Experience building and managing teams that can build and grow innovative, industry-leading web solutions that result in positive ROI for the business
· Finance minded with proven experience owning the ecommerce P&L
· Advanced knowledge of key components of ecommerce solutions, including ecommerce engines, CMS and analytics platforms
· Must have experience in project management and application of those skills as a business owner
· Strong understanding of optimization techniques involving A-B and multivariate testing and strong analytical skills
· Strong executive presence with proven ability to motivate teams and build alignment toward common goals EDUCATION
· Bachelor’s degree in ecommerce, business, finance, marketing, or similar fields
· MBA ecommerce or marketing a plus
