Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager

This is a Full-time position in Austin, TX posted July 10, 2021.

Team/Department Description
The Auctane Strategic Partnerships team is responsible for delivering long term, collaborative partnerships with tier one marketplaces, selling channels and other ecommerce partner types.

The focus of these partnerships is delivering top merchant solutions and sources of integration to drive long term merchant value to grow ecommerce sales.

These responsibilities are driven through: contract negotiations, execution of marketing/seller onboarding programs and merchant acquisition shared strategies.

In addition, the Auctane Strategic Partnerships team will cross functionally partner with product development, marketing, sales, and other cross functional groups to deliver best-in-class solutions to merchants to drive long term merchant adoption and value.
Strategic Imperative
The Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager is tasked with growing partner opportunities, referrals, and deepening relationships with Tier One Enterprise partners, primarily on the US East Coast.

The primary goal of this position is to acquire new and manage existing relationships and assist with many of our top strategic partners with increasing ShipStation revenue by growing, supporting, and optimizing those relationships.
Primary Objectives
Partner Analysis.

Acquire, manage, service, and support existing Partner relationships which will result in new merchants’ acquisitions, new account referrals and growth in shipments.

Identify user growth and revenue share opportunities with new and existing Partners and execute strategies to increase revenues.

Support the Head of Industry Relations & Strategic Partners on expanding new Partnerships worldwide.

Comprise data analysis tools and reporting for internal and external partners.

Assist with building and tracking Strategic Partners go to market initiatives.

Partner Analysis Tracks bi
– weekly/weekly results for partners that drive revenue and new merchant acquisitions.

Understands each partner channel functions.

Has the ability to prospect and sign new partners.

Ensures strong collaborative teamwork with sales, marketing and the development organizations.

Tracks results for partners that drive revenue and new merchant acquisitions.

Understand each partner channel functions.

Has the ability to prospect and sign new partners.

Acquire, manage, service and support existing Partner relationships which will result in new merchants’ acquisitions and growth in shipments.

Manage communication with the current ShipStation Partners.

Work with Marketing to drive one-to-one Partner engagement.

Solves Partner issues as they arise.

Identify user growth and revenue share opportunities with new and existing Partners and execute strategies to increase revenues.

Establish relationships with the key partner personnel.

Manage new projects to create stronger partnerships.

Develops messaging and value propositions that highlight partnership benefits and value.

Support the Head of Industry Relations on expanding new Partnerships worldwide.

Research current trends in the international ecommerce markets.

Assist in managing international relationships.

Comprise data analysis tools and reporting for internal and external partners.

Collaborate with the data team to create reports and dashboards in looker.

Analyze and report on partner initiatives.

Oversee internal and external Partner data requests to completion.

Assist with building and tracking Strategic Partners go to market initiatives.

Forecast for strategic changes in the market.

Report on key metrics.

Collaborate with marketing to build different marketing strategies.
Education And/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Seven or more (7+) years in a partnerships management & revenue generating role.

Three or more (3+) years managing Partners and Programs with a focus on enterprise and tier one partners.
Skills And Knowledge
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Deep understanding of the ShipStation product.

Excellent verbal and written conversational skills.

Expert conversational skills Deep understanding of eCommerce market.
Computer/Software/Application Proficiency
Salesforce CRM ShipStation Looker Data aggregation tool
Travel Requirements
Overnight travel approximately (30%+); Partner Visits, Tradeshows, Meet-ups.

A validate Driver’s License with proof of automobile insurance.
