Senior Tax Manager

Senior Tax Manager The LYCRA Company has an immediate opening for a Senior Tax Manager in our Wilmington, Delaware headquarters office.

Reporting to the Global Tax Director, this individual will collaborate closely with the CFO and play a key role in supporting global income taxation of our multinational company with manufacturing operations in 7 countries.

The role will be fundamental in tax planning, optimization of global effective tax rate, tax accounting, and global tax compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities include: Tax Planning and Operations Assist in developing global tax planning opportunities across 15 countries and forecasting effective rates.

Work with Treasury, Finance, and Accounting teams to plan intercompany lending and cash repatriation strategies.

Help implement or lead intercompany M&A projects, as necessary.

Assist in the development of intercompany pricing policies and oversee their implementation.

This includes reseller arrangements, intercompany loan and cash sharing agreements, R&D cost sharing, intercompany licensing, cross-border service rebilling, sourcing, etc.

Monitor potential changes in global tax environment.

Tax Compliance Manage global income tax return preparation, including timelines, reviews, workpapers, payments, and planning with internal and external resources.

Oversee US domestic tax matters for federal, state and local jurisdictions.

This includes responsibility for timely and accurate income and franchise tax, sales and use tax, and property tax returns prepared by external firms.

Supervise the preparation and filing of transfer pricing studies – both local files and BEPS-related documentation.

Work with local and external resources to manage tax audit questions and disputes in the US and globally.

Tax Accounting Oversee the Tax Accounting team’s monthly income tax provision process.

Ensure ASC 740 compliance with assistance of tax accounting experts.

Prepare quarterly and annual tax footnotes to financial statements.

Document tax accounting policies related to Valuation Allowances, Uncertain Tax Positions, Undistributed Earnings, etc.

Manage the quarterly and year-end tax-related audit processes with the company’s external auditor.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated substantial experience working in a multi-national globally managed company.

Minimum requirements:
· 10 years of combined public accounting and private industry experience.

· Undergraduate degree in accounting or similar.

· Exceptional organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

· Ability to interface with a variety of tax and non-tax professionals.

· Strong process management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve goals.

· Highly disciplined with the ability to work under strict deadlines.

· Excellent decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills.

· CPA or Masters in Taxation.

· Familiarity with SAP, HFM, or similar ERP system.

· Familiarity with IFRS.
