SVP, Global Field & Partner Marketing

Reporting into the CMO this role has responsibility for all field related marketing activities, covering the Field & Partner M arketing functions globally.

Additionally, respon sible for Customer Marketing.

The role requires a highly experienced modern marketer, a strong collaborator and leader with a proven track record in creating and delivering impactful marketing programs.

This person will be the ‘field general’, representing marketing w ith regional sales leadership.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a strong capability to work lockstep with regional sales leade rship as the marketing ‘partner , with an understanding of the rhythm of the business, pipeline, GTM.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• The day-to-day management of the field ma rketing teams; there are 3 teams across Americas, EMEA, APAC.

The leaders of those teams will report into you.

You will oversee field marketing planning and execution.

You will ensure there is an integrated marketing plan for each geo that combines both locally created marketing programs and global activities into one integrated approach.

• The global partner marketing function.

This is a team with a senior leader who create and execute marketing with and to partners.

Specifically, Technology Alliance partners, global System Integrators and key channel partners.

• The customer marketing function.

This is a team with a senior leader who run customer advocacy programs which include references, customer stories and our online community.

• Account Based Marketing.

We have a dedicated ABM program which executes into our top strategic customer accounts.

This has a dedicated team with a senior leader.

You will be a marketing expert capable of adding insight, galvanizing discussion and innovation across the organization.

You will have a data driven approach to reviewing the marketing funnel, improving and executing marketing programs and need to be focused on optimizing the integrated marketing plan and the marketing funnel to drive leads and pipeline for the business.

Competencies and skills:

The ideal candidate will be a successful B2B SaaS marketing leader who has led a sizeable worldwide marketing function, primarily field facing.

They will have a proven strength and experience in marketing and sales alignment and in building and executing demand generation programs.

With a global footprint and team, the successful individual will have a strong international mindset and have managed teams across various geographies and time zones.

A highly effective communicator and collaborator, they will need to work to develop relationships across the organization , especially with sales leadership and across other marketing functions.

Considering the size and scale of the business, they will also be comfortable being hands-on and in the detail where required.

Specific attributes include:
Deep understanding of Analytics / SaaS / Cloud business models and Go-to-Market strategies.

Demonstrated success in partnering with sales.

Strong analytical capabilities and history of using data and analytics to lead marketing functions.

A mindset of continuous improvement.

Creative thinker with analytical approach to both bring new ideas and approaches, while focusing on results.

Demonstrated ability, determination and tenacity to move major initiatives forward and drive focus while consistently thinking of the bottom-line impact of the efforts.

Motivational leader with strong collaboration and communication skills.

The role is flexible; ideally in a major European city or on the US East Coast.
