Service Desk Supervisor

Service Desk Supervisor Position Description The Service Desk Supervisor requires: detailed-oriented person, with some technical expertise with end-user computing devices, some troubleshooting and excellent communication skills.

Your future duties and responsibilities The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following tasks: At least 3 years in a similar role
• Demonstrates good technical leadership to improve knowledge & skills across team members
• Leads Service Desk Tier 1/2 and continuous improvement for the IT Service Desk
• Collaborates with other Towers and support service owners to improve overall technology support
• Manages Tier 1 Service Desk personnel shift coverage which includes time and attendance
• Understands and functions within Service and Operation Level Agreements with customers and solver groups
• Documenting, tracking, and monitoring the problem to ensure a timely resolution
• Have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Information Technology field
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems.

Also have the ability to communicate effectively with multiple clients as well as with internal teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role The ideal candidate is detailed oriented and thorough, must be able to follow-through to the completion of a task.

Additionally, the candidate:
• Possesses excellent communication skills including oral and listening skills
• Must keep team informed for consistency in responses and produce clear documentation
• Must be able to multi-task, remain clearly focused on several tasks at once
