Job Description:
Description: The Talent Consultant is responsible for the recruitment and employment of all positions for JPS Health Network by developing recruitment plans, coordinating market research, developing and implementing full sourcing and recruiting activities to fill Network vacancies.
Typical Duties:
* Analyzes employment applications and determines the most qualified applicants and best job match regardless of the original position the applicant has applied for on the application.
* Performs searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals.
* Conducts an assessment of applicable job qualifications and designs probing behavioral interview questions related to previous work history and gaps in employment.
* Establishes and maintains relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
* Identifies potential markets, maintains liaisons and provides information of employment opportunities to colleges, schools, and career fairs including travel to recruitment events.
* Maintains current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act.
* Contacts applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and/or selection.
* Develops and implements recruitment plans and programs for recruitment assignments.
* Interviews applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills.
* Advises managers and employees on recruiting and staffing policies and procedures.
* Evaluates recruitment and selection criteria to ensure conformance to professional, statistical, and testing standards, recommending revision as needed.
* Hires applicants and authorize documents assigning them to positions.
* Performs all other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
* Bachelors Degree in a related field from an accredited University.
* 4 years of recruitment experience or equivalent.
* 2 years of experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Preferred Education and Experience:
* 5 years of experience in a hospital or community environment.
