In addition to 45+ current district partners with an enrollment of 650,000+ students, our clinic line of business, Urgent Care for Kids, also currently operates 13 clinic locations and delivers on-demand telemedicine across Texas for all ages.

The company is experiencing exponential growth and is currently seeking a skilled Director, Payor Relations to facilitate this growth.We are driven to provide excellent patient care and customer service.

For the right individual, Goodside Health represents an opportunity to disrupt the current healthcare delivery model through increased access and health equity to drive meaningful outcomes to students, their families, schools, and the greater healthcare ecosystem.The Director, Payor Relations will be responsible for building relationships with payors to ensure Goodside Health is a provider of choice.

As our ideal candidate, you will have proven experience working with payors; excel at building relationships both internally and externally; and have a strong leadership experience to build and to manage operational teams and processes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAccount Management: Build a deep list of relationships with national and regional payors.

Use a CRM to manage account management activities.Contract Negotiation: Secure market access for and additional reimbursement for Goodside Health’s services including value-based arrangements.Team Development: Build a best-in-class payor operations department to support and to improve our relationships with current and prospective payors.Cross-Functional Leadership: Work hand-in hand with other stakeholders to ensure the best and clearest Goodside Health value proposition is being brought to the payors.Results: Develop clear goals with each payor partner and be accountable for driving towards results.Planning, analysis, negotiation, and implementation for new and renegotiated contracts, including single care agreementsImplement payer strategies to ensure optimal contracting and operational performanceServe as lead corporate liaison to all payersOptimize net revenueReview and update all contracts at least annually, including credentialing applicationsAttend key stakeholder community meetingsIdentifying, seeking and securing new opportunities as well as strengthening and maintaining existing relationshipsManage day-to-day payer operations and contracting activities.Ensure entities at all levels of the organization will be informed about any and all terms of negotiated contracts and understand their role in ensuring contracts are implemented quickly and correctlyAssists the Central Billing Office with payment-related questions and resolutionAssists in revenue validation routinesPerforms other duties as assignedEDUCATIONBS or BA; Master’s Degree a plus..

Requirements:Proven healthcare experience: You “get healthcare” (you understand how the system works, stakeholder incentives, etc.)5-10 years healthcare contracting or related experienceExperience with MCO’s and value-based healthcare.Proven experience making data-driven decisions.Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and professional diplomacy skillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.Ability to foster working relationships with physicians, management and associated businessesAbility to respond to common inquiries or complaints from client, hospital or patientsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsPossess strong communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate with physicians, management and medical/clinic staffHigh ability to understand other people; what motivates them; and how to work cooperatively with them.A relationship builder at heart.

Must love building relationships with external partners.Proficiency with computers, software, and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systemsHighly organized with developed time management skills
