Vertical Marketing Manager – Edge Solutions – US based

What you?ll achieve

You?ll be responsible for Edge solutions marketing activities and sales enablement that are tailored for specific verticals, such as Manufacturing and retail. You?ll analyze industry trends and information from external and internal research, analysts, our product, sales & competitive intelligence teams, and more and use your insights to develop a vertical messaging and integrated marketing plan. You?ll create a tailored message, and work with our extended team to create sales enablement and customer facing marketing content, including pitch decks, sales training, customer facing brochures, videos, infographics, and more. Finally, you will put this marketing plan, message and content into action by building an activation plan that includes things like events, digital, social media, demand and lead generation, and campaigns to help Dell salespeople be successful and for Dell Technologies to communicate our value proposition for Edge Solutions to expand our market share in a specific vertical.

You?ll be responsive to changing and/or competitive markets, identifies and communicate customer value proposition, and maintains relationships with sales, product team, and collaborate internally with variety of stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead vertical market research projects, analyze trends and create recommendations based on data
  • Understand the Edge solutions business and technologies
  • Develop vertical strategy and marketing plan, including activation, communication, and more
  • Leads creation of Edge Solutions vertical messaging, marketing, and sales enablement content & deliverables
  • Analyze research and insights to develop and position our solutions for particular verticals, including messaging, and marketing materials
  • Position requires ability to interface with all levels of organization including the executive management team as well as external customers, executive management, press and industry analysts

Essential Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant marketing experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Strong ability to influence others; problem solving skills
  • Significant vertical marketing experience for products and solutions
  • Experience creating integrated marketing plans, marketing content, and sales enablement collateral
  • Experience working with creative agencies
  • Proficient in crafting messaging and storytelling, rooted in research and customer insights
  • Understanding of complex technology solutions and the value they provide to customer
  • Ability to synthesize your thoughts into succinct plans and content deliverables

Desirable Requirements

  • Market research or consulting experience preferred
  • Masterful content creator, and storyteller, advanced .ppt and messaging experience
