Come Join the Smith & Noble family as a Video Design Sales Manager $52-55k (Comission annually) As a Video Design Sales Manager, you will lead a high-performing design sales team of Video Designers, utilizing Smith & Noble’s exclusive, customized remote designing and selling technology.

The Video Design Sales Manager accomplishes this mission by coaching and closely managing the performance of Designers, to ensure one-to-one, end-to-end, premium custom window design and purchasing experiences for customers.

This includes overall management of: * Customer expectations for both product and service.* The assurance of accurate measurements and order entry.* Proactive and responsive communication with the customer throughout the design and sales process.

The Video Design Sales Manager is responsible for staffing and building a skillful team of professional, design-savvy, and driven sales makers.

The Video Design Sales Manager will ensure that the Designers have the skills and motivation, as subject matter experts on custom window design, to conduct virtual in-home design appointments with clients, working with information provided by customers.

Preferred skills and abilities * Strong team leadership and team-building skills to develop designers into high-performing teams with the mandate for “First Time Right” designs.* Financial acumen to ensure that Designers consistently manage leads in the most cost-effective manner possible.* Ability to use strong interpersonal and communication skills, in order to teach Designers how to establish a strong personal, and emotional connection with each customer* Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, co-workers, product vendors and service suppliers.* Subject matter expertise regarding all Smith & Noble products and services.* In-depth understanding of custom window treatments with specific product category expertise* Ability to manage customers’ expectations, such that they are ultimately exceeded with initial design.* Ability to exhibit good judgment in dealing with customers* Quick learner with demonstrated customer care abilities* Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms with a “think like customer” (customer-centric) perspective* Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.* Ability to function independently* Team oriented
– ability to work and lead in group environment and contribute positively to Company goals* Ability to perform complex product and order margin calculations* Ability to exhibit initiative when dealing with pre-order challenges* Ability to focus on details, identify issues, respond quickly to urgent matters or emergency situations, prioritize quickly, and recommend solutions* Strong organizational and time management skills* Outstanding project management skills.* Ability to adhere to regular management work schedule, including evenings and weekendsQualifications:Required Education and Experience * Associate or Bachelor degree* Minimum of 5 years within the custom window treatment industry, including a minimum of 3 years of sales management experience, or 7 years of experience with similar custom products, such as custom doors, windows, cabinetry, or furniture, and including minimum of 3 years of sales management experience.* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
– Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams* Understanding of video conferencing systems and applications
