Job DescriptionTitle: Fulfillment ManagerFLSA Class: ExemptDepartment: FulfillmentReports to: Director of Operations Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Authority: Manage shipping operations (Fuel, Lubricants, and Plastics) to include accurate selecting, labeling, wrapping, strapping, weighing and loading outbound and internal orders.§ Manage resources to meet customer’s shipping expectations and work with sales team to communicate information such as status of shipments, priorities, upcoming delays or product shortages, etc.§ Work hand in hand with Production, Pump Slab and Logistics Managers to ensure sufficient product to meet shipping demands and ship efficiently.§ Responsible for shipping data entry and effectively operating within our data system § Create shipping metrics and reports to keep management up to date.§ In conjunction with Director of Operations, develop and implement new processes and procedures for more effective, efficient and accurate shipments. Maintain a safe and compliant shipping area that ensures the shipping staff operates within OSHA, ISO and other company and regulatory policies and procedures. Expected to manage and operate within a budget.§ Provide leadership and build effective teams.Will be required to perform other duties as trained, requested, directed and assigned. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:§ Excellent written and oral communications and organizational skills.§ Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to management, employees, customers and clients.§ Be adaptable and able to work through various constraints.§ Experience in successful team development.§ Competent with MS Excel and MS Office computer environments.§ Be able to multi task and adapt to changing priorities. Education, Experience and Training:§ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or 2 to 5 years relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.§ Experience in Shipping Management to include shipping multiple items to multiple customers.§ Safety or technical certifications a plus. Physical Demands:§ Required to lift up to 25 lbs.§ Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.§ Must be able to work weekends and or holidays as needed.§ Ability to operate a motor vehicle, comply with traffic laws and meet insurance requirements. Work Environment:§ Exposed to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils.
