VP, Relationship Manager

Reporting to our Executive Vice President of Commercial Lending, the ideal candidate has 5-10 years of commercial lending experience in a community-based financial institution.

They have demonstrated success in providing excellent service in managing a portfolio and community involvement.

Experience with agricultural lending and/or managing large credits not required, but a plus Join our team and make a difference with our customers and our communities today Position Summary: Responsible for the relationship management of a sound and growing commercial loan and deposit portfolio that will provide maximum profitability to the bank while adhering to the bank’s risk tolerance.

This high customer contact position requires the ability to manage and develop current client relationships through a proactive and professional service and sales approach.

Handles loans in varying degrees of complexity for commercial loan customers, including large credits of $2m/-.

In addition, this position might assist with the underwriting process of small to intermediate commercial credits.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in related business field, minimum 5-10 years commercial lending experience in a community based financial institution; Ag lending a plus but not required.

Must have demonstrated success in managing existing customer relationships and be service and community-minded.

Must possess valid driver’s license.

Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; Makes timely decisions.

Technical: Advanced knowledge of credit analysis.

Must have a strong working knowledge and experience in commercial banking products.

Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements required.

A self-user and promoter of technology.

PC and Microsoft Office Product proficiency.
