Wholesale Payments – Business Analysis Manager, VP

The Payment Networks Office is at the nexus of these exciting developments by redefining our relationships with our Network partners (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, etc.).As a member of the Payment Network Office’s Strategic Analytics and Reporting team, you will be accountable for providing data-driven insights that help drive our global Network strategy.

This includes topics such as network fees, rules, new products, interchange, profitability and sales trends.

You will partner across the firm on strategic initiatives to drive growth and optimize cost.

This role will provide significant exposure to many different lines of business, functional groups, geographies, and senior management.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:* Analyzing consumer, merchant, network, and industry data to drive recommendations for action* Building and maintaining quantitative tools and performing sensitivity and scenario analyses* Engaging with and articulating insights and recommendations to senior management* Optimizing existing data environments and creating new datasets* Proactively identifying ways to improve processes and procedures* Supporting change management strategy within lines of business* Driving an environment of risk controls; escalating issues to senior management as needed* Understanding the payments industry and staying abreast of current market environment and trendsQualifications:* 7+ years experience in the Consumer Payments industry with advanced knowledge of global Payment Network Economics, Fees, and Interchange* 5+ years experience in data analytics and modeling skills, including strong proficiency with Excel, SAS, or R* Strategic and thoughtful communicator with outstanding written and verbal communication skills and strong executive presence* Achievement-orientation with determination in situations involving frequent change, high expectations, and ambiguity* Attention to detail with ability to stay on top of multiple competing priorities* Ability to influence and build consensus across an organization
